A key highlight of this year’s Great Eastern Women’s Run is the launch of a new programme called #RuntoLiveGreat. This programme aims to encourage first-time runners to take the first step towards healthier and better living. 50 pairs of women were selected and they will be given the opportunity to attend training sessions and fringe activities such as body combat before completing the run on race day.
The #RuntoLiveGreat Welcome Session was held on 26 July 2014 and it was great to see everyone with their buddies, eager to embark on a healthier lifestyle. They each received an exclusive ‘#RuntoLiveGreat’ starter kit (which includes an adidas tee, New Balance shoes and Polar Loop activity tracker wristband) and a customised exercise plan.
